Welcome to HorrorLand: A Survival Guide is a bonus book in the Goosebumps HorrorLand series. Taking place between books 12 and 13 (serving as a divider between the two arcs), it is sometimes referred to as book 12.5, book 0, or book B.

The cover of this book has become an interesting controversy, seeing as two very different covers are seen in different places. This is
the cover seen in the back of each book, the one that is almost always used as the real cover. However, the book appears completely different. A possible theory to explain this common goof is if the artists chose to change the design at the last second.
Other books
Interestingly, the same goof has appeared in every book since. Books 13 and 14 are missing the banner at the top in popular images. Book 15 is missing the exclamation point in its title. Book 16 is the opposite of 13 and 14, as it shouldn't have the banner, but it does in certain images and in the back of books. Additionally, the words "Special Edition" beneath the logo are also missing.
