Welcome to HorrorLand: A Survival Guide is a bonus book in the Goosebumps HorrorLand book series. The book was released between books 12 and 13 (serving as a divider between the two arcs) in October 2009. This book is unnumbered, but is sometimes referred to as book 12.5 or book 0; in the Goosebumps HorrorLand 1-20 boxed set, it is referred to as book 20.
There is no consistent plot in this book. It is just a humorous book that describes the creatures and attractions of HorrorLand.
The cover illustration depicts Slappy the Dummy and a female HorrorLand Horror riding together on a roller coaster in HorrorLand.

Synopsis[]
The setup of this book is very different from the others in the series. The book is split into twelve main sections; each section describes a different facility of the park, like restaurants, rides, and hotels.
Most of the locations, people, Horrors, and attractions in this books are given gag names, such as Howard U. Likeapunchindanose, Les Chompem, and Clem Muncie.
The last few pages of this book contain bonus material and several interviews with characters from the Goosebumps series and Goosebumps HorrorLand. It also foreshadows the second arc of the series with an article about Jonathan Chiller.

- Just like the promotional book Write Your Fright!, this book has no consistent plot.
- This book makes no mention of R.L. Stine on the cover or copyright page, meaning that he likely didn't write any of it. The only author credited on the copyright page is Matthew D. Payne, who is credited as the writer of the "Behind the Screams" section of the book.
- In the Arthur episode The Scare-Your-Pants-Off Book Club, the Scare-Your-Pants-Off books parody Goosebumps. Buster mentions a book called The Curse of the Mummy's Breath, a reference to The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb and Vampire Breath. This title would later be used as a subheading in this book.
- This book references several popular novels, such as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Frankenstein, and The Invisible Man, as well as these books' main antagonists. Moreover, this book makes references to other Goosebumps books and characters. This book also references The Addams Family and Dumb and Dumber.
