I know some of you are interested in knowing when I write a new Goosebumps review, but I don't want to keep littering the community with blog posts for those, so here's a master-post for Shadyside Reviews!
I'll comment here when I write about a new Goosebumps book.

Hey, guys. Here's my yearly "I'm on Summer break. School is no longer kicking my butt and I can edit here again," post. I've missed y'all.
I am still making my way through the classic series at my blog, now at Shadyside.blog. If any of you have a blog with similar content and want to be added to my blogroll, let me know. I already have added Thomas, Retro, and a few others here.
So, how are you all? What's new? What wrappening? I'm reading Say Cheese and Die! today, so I'll be back with some edits soon. :)

Your boy, #13 here at the Wiki, done through accidental and coincidental badge collection, thank you thank you, has just posted his thirteenth review: Welcome to Camp Nightmare.
I decided I'm going to make one post for every five reviews so I don't end up with 62 blog entries here, haha. I'll just comment here when I post the 14th and 15th reviews so you guys can check them out.
- 11 was My Hairiest Adventure, which I plugged earlier.
- 12 was The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb, which I didn't plug.
- 13 is Welcome to Camp Nightmare.

I recapped yet another Goosebumps book, and this time, I decided to change my method. Before, I focused heavily on plot-synopsis, attempting to appeal to nostalgic fans like myself who already love these books. What I realized is there are several blogs online that do that, and I wasn't really adding (much) new to the internet. Furthermore, there is a lot of really good stuff in these books that I think young and reluctant readers can benefit from. Literary devices like symbolism, foreshadowing, and metaphor. I started my Goosebumps Classic Series Recaps a year ago today. I've done ten books so far:
- Night of the Living Dummy
- The Barking Ghost
- The Cuckoo Clock of Doom
- The Horror At Camp Jellyjam
- The Scarecrow Walks At Midnight
- Monster Blood
- How I Got My Shrunken Head
- Let's Get Invisible!
- Beware, the Snowman
- Egg Monsters From Mars
Night of the Living Dummy, The Cuckoo Clock of Doom, The Horror At Camp Jellyjam, Monster Blood, and Let's Get Invisible! were good, The Scarecrow Walks At Midnight was ok, and The Barking Ghost, How I Got My Shrunken Head, Beware, the Snowman, and Egg Monsters From Mars ...left a lot to be desired.
Anyway, I started editing here when I started my recaps, so I've been here a year, officially. Off and on because of school, but a yea…Read more >
