  • I'm probably not going to be watching the new film opening day, and if we unprotect the new film's page on opening day, it will probably fall into chaos.

When does it come out where you are, and when do you plan on seeing it?

      Loading editor
    • actually it won't because one the actual plot is short and two here's a list of cast of who's going to be in the movie:

    • >When does it come out where you are

I don't even know if it will come out in Portugal! I haven't seen any ads in TV. I have to look that up...

      >when do you plan on seeing it?

If it doesn't come out any time soon here, I'll probably have to watch the movie in a piracy site.... :/

    • Apparently, it comes out in Portugal on October 25.

    • Well that leaves us in a bit of a predicament, considering Goddy and I won't be seeing the film for a while either.

        Loading editor
    • hmm maybe I can help since I'll be seeing it next week.

    • Griff, your grammar and formatting aren't quite 100%. I want to try to make sure the sequel film page doesn't end up like the original film page.

I would prefer it if you left this thread to me and Murder.

Dang it... Do you think we should keep it locked until one of us watches the movie?

    • or me

    • Sorry for butting in, but I think if anyone should edit it, it should be Nick, seeing as he's quite a respected user, and will probably watch it soonest. Yeah, it's a shame the release date is different for different countries, I was looking forward to watch it, but now I've realised it's out on the 19th for the UK.

I kinda understand. In Brazil, for example, movies always come out later because of the time it takes to dub a whole movie. I think I'm lucky because, in Portugal, foreign movies or TV shows, generally, are the original versions, only with Portuguese subtitles (unless it's a kid's show). Live action films usually don't get dubbed in Portugal. I like that.

      >it should be Nick

Of course, we can't force him to do it. He's totally free to decide if he wants to edit the page or not. I think Admins have a feature that allows them to unlock articles only for certain users.

    • I think so, it's a little Admins-only secret.

    • hey I'm the admin of my own wiki, so you got tell me what it is please?

I considered asking him, but he's not yet an admin/mod, so he can't edit locked pages.

      >Admins have a feature that allows them to unlock articles only for certain users.

Sadly, no. Fandom, for some reason, has no exception feature. I wonder how Goddy would feel about temporarily making him an mod.

I wasn't trying to say Nick should be forced into doing it, I was just saying if anyone should edit it, it should probably be him, but only if he wants to. Seeing as you and the admins probably won't be watching the film for a while, I just thought he might want to edit it.

      Why?

    • >Why?

There isn't an exception feature, but you can allow only admins and mods to edit a page. So Nick would be able to edit if he was made a mod, (or an admin, but that's a strech.) (And the reason I know this is because I'm also an admin on another wiki.)

    • Maybe this all isn't such a good idea. I just thought, you all saying you won't be watching the film for a while, it'd just be locked for months, when someone who probably will watch it could maybe edit it every now and then, perhaps. Idk, seeing as the two people who will probably watch it soonest is Nick and Griff, I thought Nick has better grammar and formatting, no offence.

I got it, thanks. I misinterpreted GbA's message. He wrote:

I read it as "I wonder how Goddy would feel about temporarily making him [Goddy himself] a mod." Lol.
