History

The Haunted Car

Mitchell Moinian's parents get a new car, and he's excited since he knows all about cars, but one night, he hears a whisper, "Get in" and when he gets in the car, he gets the Manual from the console, but it says, "I'm evil!" He discovers that the car is possessed by a spirit of a girl that died in a car accident, Becka, and now she wants a friend in the afterlife. When she accidentally saved Mitchell from a house fire, she moved onto the afterlife because the good deed too much for her evil soul to bare.

Goosebumps: The Game

The driver of the moving van references a story about a haunted car which he once told his partner about. The driver swears that the story was true. The Haunted Car is later shown as an achievement within the game.

Goosebumps (film)

The Haunted Car appears in the Goosebumps movie as means of transportation for Slappy, driving on her own due to both her nature as a possessed automobile and because Slappy's legs are too short to reach the brakes. After he released the car, he used her to rampage through Madison, Delaware. He also threw various Goosebumps manuscripts books- including Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes, You're Plant Food!, A Shocker on Shock Street, and Invasion of the Body Squeezers: Part 1 and Part 2- out the driver's seat window after unlocking them.
