Excited[]
I'm super excited about this article. NicktheDummy (talk) 21:25, July 21, 2016 (UTC)NicktheDummy
- And you know there is said to be an upcoming story called Jack Attack? It must be about Jackson Stander. Signed CindyLou95
Twins[]
I Am Slappy's Evil Twin? That sounds a lot like the Goosebumps Series 2000 book I Am Your Evil Twin, only it says "Slappy's Evil Twin" and not "Your Evil Twin". Signed CindyLou95
There are about 129 pages in this book I Am Slappy's Evil Twin.Griffguy26 (talk) 19:49, October 28, 2017 (UTC)
14 books?[]
So there will probably be at least 14 books in this series? (Source). Whoa, I definitely wasn't expecting so many books. I thought there would be only 8-10 books. This is good news for me. How about you? Murder(Talk); 22:05, January 6, 2019 (UTC)
- Very interesting! Thanks for sharing. I'm a little unhappy about this. Not even one book in this series has looked interesting enough to get me to actually read it. GoosebumpsArt (talk) 01:12, January 8, 2019 (UTC)
I think Stine needs to get his Goosebumps mojo back. SlappyWorld is my least favourite Goosebumps series, not necessarily because the books are bad, but because they just don't feel like Goosebumps. And Slappy's introductions in the books are excruciatingly unfunny (and strangely similar to Lefty, Righty and Slim in Triple Header books.) #bringbacktimjacobus SharkBud (talk) 01:18, January 8, 2019 (UTC)
- Well put. However, Stine keeps doing Slappy books because they sell well. All the while, I can only think of this Reddit thread. GoosebumpsArt (talk) 01:28, January 8, 2019 (UTC)
I think Stine would make his fans happier (and more money) if he just brought back the original series. Kinda like a reboot. The same oozy template in the covers, same artwork by Jacobus, and the cool 90's references. A few months ago, I used to read old Goosebumps books for the nostalgia, but now I feel that I'm losing interest in the franchise itself. Maybe the main reason is the sudden interest I had in the Fear Street series, last summer. Also, news seem too slow lately. I like to see new cover artworks, but only 3 books are released every year. It's not Stine's fault, I know, but it's the reality. (Also, I am not fully aware of how much success the Goosebumps franchise has in the US. In Portugal, they don't even translate new books. The franchise is already dead here.) Murder(Talk); 19:06, January 8, 2019 (UTC)
