The Ranewash Zombies are the main antagonists of the 40th Give Yourself Goosebumps book, Zombie School.
Biography[]
Normal humans are sent to Ranewash, a prestigious boarding school full of rich and famous children, brainwashed by the subliminal messages inside the school, and then attempt to take over the world after they graduate and have been fully programmed.
It is mentioned that many of the reader’s favorite celebrities and other notable public figures including politicians and business tycoons are zombies who graduated from Ranewash.
During the events of Zombie School, the reader must find a way to survive the school and avoid getting brainwashed and transformed into a zombie. In some endings, the reader can even deprogram all the Ranewash zombies by either jamming the brainwashing machine or creating new subliminal messages to counter the subliminals of Ranewash.

The Ranewash Zombies look like normal humans to a regular person, but when viewed through special glasses found in Ranewash Boarding School (such as Mrs. Simm’s monocle), they have light blue skin, a blank stare, and bright red numbers tattooed to their skin.
Personality[]
The Ranewash Zombies are mindless, and will never disobey an order. The only thing they usually think of is to brainwash other humans and obey their authority figures to the fullest extent.
