Purple Rage is one of the villains created by Robby Schwartz in the fifth Goosebumps HorrorLand book, Dr. Maniac vs. Robby Schwartz.

History

The Purple Rage is one of the creations of Robby Schwartz for his web comic, as well as the sworn enemy of Dr. Maniac, but in Welcome to Camp Slither the Purple Rage shows up and teams up with Dr. Maniac to torment the kids by making them run on a circular treadmill.

General information

Physical appearance

Purple Rage wears a tight, purple outfit and ridiculous boots. His face is dark purple when he's less mad, but most of the time his face is a bright tomato red.

Personality

The Purple Rage, as his name implies, is always in a rage. Even giving him compliments will make him angry. He can become so angry that his body can literally explode but he can put himself back together when that happens. For unknown reasons, he hates Dr. Maniac but will willingly team up with him. The supervillain can also be a superhero sometimes, and save people from danger as shown in Dr. Maniac vs. Robby Schwartz. Also, he shouts some stupid alliterations to show he's mad such as "You know what GRIPES my GOATEE?", and "Do you know what PEABOILS my PEONIES?".

• The Purple Rage is mentioned several times in Welcome to HorrorLand: A Survival Guide. He even has his own "Fright Gallery" page.
• Even though the Rage is the enemy of Dr. Maniac, this supervillain doesn't appear in the eleventh SlappyWorld book, They Call Me The Night Howler! as Dr. Maniac does.
