Murph is a character in Goosebumps: The Vanishing. He is portrayed by Ethan Miguel Viera.
History[]
Murph was at a party with Alex Diaz, lighting explosives she'd brought to the party. She tried to warn him that it was dangerous to light them inside, but he ignored her concerns and continued. Then he challenged another kid to a game of chicken, in which he taped a firecracker to each of their hands and lit them. The other kid panicked first and threw the firecracker just before it exploded. Murph went to remove his, but couldn't. Alex stepped in to help and they barely got it off before it exploded. Unfortunately, this started a fire. Murph immediately fled, while Alex tried to put it out before fleeing. Alex was arrested and spent a year in juvie for the arson despite not having done it because Murph didn't take responsibility.
When Alex got out, she found Murph's workplace and went there to confront him. He ran away and she chased him in a car until she crashed into a pole. Murph got a car and chased Alex himself. He was shocked when she showed him she wasn't in control of the car. He crashed himself and the car Alex was in continued driving.[1]
