The Muglani is a tribe of witch doctors that appears in the eleventh Give Yourself Goosebumps book, Deep in the Jungle of Doom.

History

The Muglani are a tribe of misanthropic witch doctors who reside in the Amazon Rainforest. They often seek to decapitate other humans, later shrinking their heads after that they will put them in their collection of Shrunken Heads, or turn their victims into animals or monsters.

They are seen in three bad endings:

  • The reader and Ben are captured by the Muglani, who plan to decapitate both of them and add their heads to their Shrunken Head collection.
  • The first bad ending has the Muglani turning the reader and Ben into monkeys.
  • The second consists of the reader using a vine to cross a river bank to escape the Muglani but ends up grabbing a boa snake instead which wraps around the reader squeezing the reader to death.
