Mrs. Bass is the main antagonist of the thirty-sixth book in the Give Yourself Goosebumps book series, Ship of Ghouls.
Biography[]
Mrs. Bass runs a secret syndicate on the cruise ship SS Finatic planning to transform all its passengers into mutant sea creature/human hybrids, and her motivations to do so root from misanthropy as she states that “humans are worthless life forms and sea creatures are superior”.
During the events of Ship of Ghouls, if the reader decides to tell the crew that Tom Bosco is going to bomb the cruise ship, the reader will encounter her - and a man named Mr. Smith (Who is a secret agent named Wolf Moldy who is involved in marine missions) who claims Mrs. Bass is the one behind the experiments. It is up to the reader who to trust between Mr. Smith and Mrs. Bass.
It is confirmed that Mrs. Bass’ experiments on the SS Finatic have lasted for many years, proven by lobster men om the ship who boarded the cruise and were transformed one year prior to this book’ events.

Personality[]
Mrs. Bass is extremely misanthropic and cruel, as she thinks humanity is worthless and will do anything to transform and experiment on innocent cruise passengers, transforming them into deformed, mutated sea creature hybrids. If the reader is transformed into a mutant shrimp hybrid, Mrs. Bass will show no mercy and eat the reader.
