Trivia
- Even though she appears in the movie, Nila Rahmad is mentioned during Prince Khor-Ru's chapter yet does not have a chapter of her own.
- Similarly, the E. Ville Creeper Plants, Bees, Countess Yvonne, the Mummies and Clarissa the witch are not featured in the book despite appearing in the movie.
- The Swamp Monster from How to Kill a Monster is accidentally identified as a Mud Monster from You Can't Scare Me!
- The Cuckoo Clock, The Snake Lady, The Invisible Boy, and The Annihilator 3000 don't have much information, since each of their chapters are only one page long.
- Slappy has the most pages than any other monster featured in the book.
- At the end of The Haunted Mask's chapter, it says, "Remember, One size fits all." This is a possible reference to a line from the movie, The Color Purple.
