You and Villainslover need to talk through your edits to the HorrorTown page instead of just undoing stuff back and forth. I'm not super familiar with the game, so I can't really sort things out myself.
If the two of you continue this undo war, it may result in a ban. Please come to an agreement in this thread, and I'll offer suggestions if needed.
Hello, I don't want any trouble, I just think that the main source of information for the HorrorTown page should be the game itself, and in the game it is not stated that the Piranha Person is from A Shocker on Shock Street. The fact that this monster is part of the Deep in the Jungle of Doom storyline and that in the storyline one character turns into the Piranha Person by eating a fruit (which is exactly what happens to the reader in the book) seems to indicate that he's supposed to be from that book. The fact that they called it Piranha Person instead of Fish Monster doesn't seem important, since Fish Monster is not the monster's official name.
After a short period of deliberation, Goddy and I decided that the page for "The Old Man Mask" doesn't need to exist. The character only ever appeared once, and the page didn't contain a substantial amount of info.
As far as I know, it's never even called "The Old Man Mask".
You also decided that, rather than discussing contentious edits, it would be better to simply repeat them.
Perhaps it would be better to create a page for all of the haunted masks. The Haunted Mask could still have its own page, but all of the less important possessed masks (in The Haunted Mask I & II) could be rounded up into one article.
I would be fine if you're thinking of creating for The Unloved, but The Old Man Mask deserves a little more recognition that just being part of a group. It's the main antagonist of The Haunted Mask II for crying out loud. It's the most imporant mask among The Unloved, second only to the Haunted Mask. It deserves its own page.
>the masks Steve looks at before finding The Old Man Mask don't even sound like they're part of The Unloved.
The masks Steve saw might not be in The Unloved, but the old man mask definitely is one of The Unloved.
The Haunted Mask has a name (The Haunted Mask), it appears in multiple stories, it has the power of mind-control, it can speak, and it appeared in the film. The "Old Man Mask" wasn't even given a name.
By itself, the "Old Man Mask" doesn't need a page.
But just exactly what significant details or any other information about the mask could've be used to keep the page from being a stub. And if that was even the case, why didn't you finish the page when you created it?
I understand if Steve's mask is a favorite "character" of yours, but you may want to take G.A.'s and Goddy's word on this. Every mask would be mentioned in a single convenient page for fans to refer to.
Let me make one thing clear, Monster Blood Drive. I was trying to make a contribution to the wiki by adding a page about a very underrated character in the series and they just take it down before i've finish construction. That's like kicking over detailed sand castles. IT'S OUTRAGEOUS!
Not everything needs to have it's own page. I've learned that to make a page you need to have an addiquete amount of info. The "Old man Mask" only appeared in one book, so I don't think there would be enough for it's own page.
Researcher, we're not trying to offend you by deleting the page. But you must acknowledge the community consensus in this comment section and accept that the page served no point. The admins see no purpose, users see no purpose, not too much would've been gained from the page in general. You just got to accept it and be the bigger person to end this. Creating the Unloved page is the best compromise we can reach for Steve's mask so consider it.
