Matt Daniels was a Very Special Guest, who first appeared in Monster Blood for Breakfast!.
Bio
However, he appears in HorrorLand much earlier, in the book, Creep from the Deep. So canonically, the first half of Book 3 actually occurs, before Book two's Enter HorrorLand segment. He is kind and sporty, but the only thing that drives him up the wall is Bradley "Worm" Wormser. He is basically the leader of the Very Special Guests' group and has the strongest part in the Goosebumps HorrorLand book series.
Personality
Matt is very inventive, sporty, brave and is really interested in science and hates to late because he wants to be first, not last. He is quite popular in school and everyone considered him to be his teacher's star. Matt is kind and calm, but sometimes he does have his own limit mainly with Bradley Wormser, who constantly annoys him by copying him and taking his stuff without asking. Sometimes Matt thought of something to hurt Bradley to pay him back, but he does have a conscience and wouldn't do anything that horrible. Matt had proven to be pretty clever and always tries to figure out how to handle some problems and how to solve them.
Appearance
Matt is twelve years old, Caucasian, five feet and two inches tall and athletic with brown hair and green eyes.

- While he was watching the Monster Blood bubble and pop, Matt was wondering if anyone else had really eaten it. He doesn't know this, but two pets had eaten it and turned into ferocious animals and Evan accidentally swallowed a little bit and shot up taller than his house.
