Kayla Gardener is the sister of Jay Gardener in the book Planet of the Lawn Gnomes. She is revealed to be imaginary towards the end of the book.
Appearance[]
Kayla is described to have the same red hair and blue eyes as Jay, only hers is long enough to swing over her shoulders. Kayla wears jackets to go out.
Personality[]
Kayla frowns upon Jay's bad behaviour, pranks and disobeying rules, sighing and berating him over it. She enjoys stuff other children her age enjoy, such as riding bikes, and figures that Jay couldn't get into trouble over it.
Trivia[]
- Kayla is aware she's imaginary as she reveals this to Jay towards the end of the book.
- Kayla is perhaps wish fulfilment to Jay; She has a brand new bike whereas Jay has an old rusty one. Plus, Jay's parents never built a sister-noid, he may have wished for a sibling which got partly incorporated into his malfunction behaviours.
