Julie Martin is the main protagonist in the eighth Goosebumps HorrorLand book, Say Cheese — and Die Screaming!.

History

Julie took pictures for Twin Forks Middle School's newspaper. She really wanted to beat the photography contest against David Blank. But the Sneer Sisters, Greta and Becka, break her digital camera, so she found another self-developing camera which caused bad things to happen to her family and friends.

Eventually she defeated the camera by managing to prevent a nasty from happening and she even started to form a possible friendship with David. Later, she was invited to HorrorLand (Theme Park) and get involved in the mystery revolving around Panic Park.

Physical appearance

Julie is twelve years old, Caucasian, tall and skinny with long straight dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Personality

Julie likes to take photos everywhere she goes. She also really enjoys working for the yearbook at Twin Forks Middle School (which causes some to think she really has pictures on the brain). Julie can also be as competitive as David and likes to come up with ideas for her yearbook. She proves to be intelligent when she comes up with a way to defeat the camera and reverse the curses it put on people.

The book never explains if Julie reconciled with Reena after their falling-out although it's highly unlikely.
Julie shares the same last name with Abby Martin, another one of the "Very Special Guests" invited to HorrorLand. However, neither are related.
