Goosebumps Wiki

The Ice Cream-Seeking Aliens are the main antagonists of the “3” storyline in the Give Yourself Goosebumps book, Weekend at Poison Lake.

Biography[]

They are a race of obese aliens who have extreme technological advancements on their planet, but their planet doesn’t have any source of junk food. As a result, in order to get junk food, they have buried a (presumably uranium) radioactive rock in Parsons Lake, and when humans get poisoned by radiation by swimming in the lake, they are taken onto the spaceship where the aliens will blackmail humans by giving an antidote in exchange for a secret recipe from the famous ice cream company, Ben and JoJo’s. As a result of eating too much junk food over the years, these aliens have gotten obese.

During the events of Weekend at Poison Lake, you get poisoned by swimming in the lake, and you must obtain the recipe for the Crazy Cola flavor of ice cream before you die from radiation poisoning in 2 days. If the reader does obtain the recipe and give it to the aliens, the aliens will then request the recipe for Coca-Cola (as this particular flavor requires said drink to make), and since the recipe Coca-Cola is highly guarded and only 2 people in the entire world know the exact recipe, the reader is left to die.

Their schemes have gone for at least a year prior to the book’s events, as another kid had to obtain a recipe from Ben and JoJo’s one year prior to the events of Weekend at Poison Lake.

If the FBI is called, the aliens will instantly administer the cure and run away as they do not want humans to discover them.

Characteristics[]

Appearance[]

This race of aliens are described to have tiny eyes, big fat bellies (presumably caused by how much junk food they eat), and transluscent gray skin. They have no mouths, which means they cannot speak.

Personality[]

This race of aliens are gluttonous and greedy, as they constantly desire junk food from Earth and eat them. They take pleasure in blackmailing humans in order to get recipes from Ben and JoJo’s Ice Cream and Coca-Cola.
