Highgrave is a town and the setting of the eleventh Goosebumps Series 2000 book, Attack of the Graveyard.
History[]
Many years ago, two brothers by the name of Oswald Manse and Martin Manse burnt down half of Highgrave for their own pleasure, which killed many citizens in the process. The two brothers were eventually executed for their crimes, and their graves were buried with a warning telling anyone that whoever disturbed the rest of the brothers, would be punished by both of them.
Years later, a teacher by the name of Mrs. Webster takes her class on a feild trip to the cemetery where the brothers were buried at, this leads to a student of hers named Spencer Kassimir accidentally awakening the brothers. Spencer and his friend Audra get their bodies possessed by the brothers, and the brothers wreak havoc on the town once more in the bodies of the children.
The brothers eventually abandoned the bodies and Spencer and Audra reposses them, only for them to find out that Spencer is in Audra's body and Audra is in Spencer's body.

The Hanging Tree[]
This is the sight of where the brothers were hanged for burning down half of the town for sheer fun and without no remorse. It is unknown if the tree is still there.
