Harold Biddle is a recurring character in Goosebumps. He is portrayed by Ben Cockell. He is the vengeful ghost of a teen that haunts items to ruin the lives of the kids of the people who accidentally killed him.
History[]
Due to his unorthodox hobbies, Harold was bullied at school to the point where his parents moved him to Port Lawrence. His father gave him a Polaroid camera, which inspired Harold to join the film club at his new high school. While at the club, he met Nora Parker and Sarah, whom he developed a crush on.
Some time later, Harold found Slappy the Dummy hidden in the walls of his basement. After he read a piece of paper in Slappy's box, the dummy came to life. Harold brough Slappy to a talent show, and Slappy managed to save the act by telling rude jokes. Slappy's advice ended up helping Harold become more popular, but he began manipulating Harold and isolating him from his friends and family. Harold became more and more obsessed with the dummy, eventually bringing Slappy with to school with him, where the dummy began divulging personal secrets of Harold's friends, which led to his friend group to abandon him. Later that night, Harold comes home to his parents trying to destroy Slappy, and Slappy forces Harold to turn his parents into puppets.
On Halloween, Harold came home to find that Slappy was missing. Sarah and her friends had broken in and stolen the doll, then cut of the power. Harold lit a candle to see in the dark, but he fell down the stairs and dropped the candle on the carpet, which caused the rest of the house to go up in flames.[2][1]
Harold died in the fire, but his spirit stayed behind as a vengeful spirit determined to get revenge on his former companions for killing him and stealing Slappy from him.
Harold ultimately returned twenty years later after his house came under the possession of Nathan Bratt, a distant relative of his. He then proceeded to exact his revenge by cursing various objects that once belonged to him and planting them in places each are they are then found by one of children of his former companions.
Harold cursed his old camera, causing it to take terrible pictures of people that later come true. At the same time, he curses a mask inside the basement and his pet worms. Moments before the picture's victim meets their fate, Harold appears before them and screams as he becomes engulfed in flames. He appears to Allison before she falls in the woods, then to Margot Stokes in the hallway at Port Lawrence High before she has an allergic reaction on an energy bar containing peanuts. He then appears to Isaiah Howard on the football field during the big game, taking the place of the umpire and the other players as he catches the field on fire. Harold's psychic attack causes Isaiah to fall and break his arm.[3]
At the same time she find the Haunted Mask and becomes more confident but also evil, causing an outburst in the counselors room, then beats up Lucas for breaking her dads drone causing the mask to take full control of her and wreck the house and almost kill her brother until an act of love causes her to get control back take it of dumping it in the river, and Harold putting it back on his house.[4]
After James hits his head on a cuckoo clock he relives the day all over again when he leaves the house, and tries (and succeeds) in winning over Sam (his crush) and stops the inside of the clock and finally leaves happily until one day all his clones of different timelines come back and ruin his relationship with Sam and tried to ruin it with his friend, but the friends kill them before he can, at the end of the episode one James clone survived and gave Harold a suitcase but without Slappy causing Harold to go into a blind rage and kill The last James Clone.[5]
Lucas steals Harold's worms and when showing Margot her dad cheating on her mom with his mom, he tries to eat a worm but it goes up his nose then that night all the worms go in his body causing him not to feel pain and get instant regeneration, but he has an appetite for dirt, and tries to do the death-defying stunt his dad tried but his mother after his mother said his father killed himself he throws up the worms but they all clump up together to go back inside of him, so a big chase scene happens and they shred the worms, Harold goes to the sight and finds one of Slappy's eyes.[6]

As a ghost his appearance was almost the same but he was deathly pale with blue veins visible on his face and red eyes, he could also manifest himself as a burnt corpse since he died in a fire.
