Hannah Parker is a character in Goosebumps: The Vanishing. She is portrayed by Eloise Payet.
History[]
Hannah was a new student when Matty Brewer asked her to come to Fort Jerome with him and his friends, Sameer and Nicole, and film them. She agreed despite the stories of bad things that had happened there. When Jen Diaz, Matty's ex-girlfriend, saw him talking to Hannah, she got her revenge by stealing Hannah's clothes and tossing them onto the sidewalk. Despite this, Hannah decided to go with them to the fort.[1] Hannah filmed them as they made their way inside. Sameer suggested they could just leave and no one would know they didn't actually stay, but Hannah filming made that impossible. They were startled by a sound, but discovered it was only Matty's little brother, Anthony, whom they called Stink and who had followed them. Matty left to walk Stink back out. When Matty returned, they investigated a machine in the room. It started sparking and so did a panel on the wall, then a hole opened up in the floor. It emitted a gas and Matty said they were leaving. Before they could, Matty's face started melting. The four of them were never seen again and were later declared dead.[2]
In 2024, looking exactly as she did in 1994, Hannah came to Devin in a park. She told him she knew he was at the Fort because she'd been there soon. They had a camp there and bad things happened. She offered to take him there and show him, but he got a phone call and while he was talking to Frankie, Hannah disappeared.[3] Hannah later led Devin to the Fort, where they stood on the edge of the roof. She told him he needed to jump so they could find his dad. When his friends arrived and told him Hannah wasn't real, Hannah told Devin not to follow her and jumped off, dissolving into black goo.[1]
Hannah and the others were actually encased in pods under Fort Jerome in a facility. When Anthony became trapped, his kids came to find him with their friends and when they rescued Anthony, Anthony rescued the others. They took them home, where they quickly got stir crazy. Not wanting to arouse suspicion by allowing them out together, the teens split them up and took them out individually, except Matty, who agreed to stay at the house with Cece and Alex. Hannah went with Devin to show him where she used to live. She was upset when she saw the building was no longer there. Then she coughed up a pod that encased her and turned her into a critter. These critters attacked the teens. Finally, Hannah was released when Anthony and Jen released the alien ship. Hannah and her friends, plus the scientists who worked at the facility, all went with the aliens back to space.[4]
