The Grayworld is a bizarre otherworldly dimension hidden behind the school walls of Bell Valley Middle School, as it's first and only appearance is in the fifty ninth book of the original Goosebumps series, The Haunted School.
History[]
As not much is known about this dimension at all, except for the fact that everything is only in black and white and lacks any sort of color or texture at all, as it seems to resemble a bizarre version of the town Bell Valley, only covered in a thick layer of fog with empty houses, a blackened night time sky without a moon or stars and eerie fog that sweeps over the whole outside area.
According to the Missing Class of 1947 who were sent here by the mysterious evil photographer Mr. Chameleon, anyone or anything sent here, will quickly lose their color in a matter of minutes, resulting them to being only in black and white and the realm also appears to be frozen in time itself as the kids somehow have remained the same age, all being around 12 since arriving to Grayworld 50 years prior and stops their physical growth as well.
Eventually, some of the other children of the missing class, ventured outdoors the school, losing their minds due to being without color for so long and only a small handful of the kids remain in the safety of the school as they managed to keep their sanity and constantly, try to find a way out of Grayworld.
