Fox Kids is a former programming block of kids shows that aired on the Fox Television Network that spanned from September 6th, 1990 to September 7th, 2002. Fox Kids was the channel where the Goosebumps TV series premiered new episodes for its United States broadcast until its cancellation in 1998. 

Goosebumps on Fox Kids

The first episode of Goosebumps, "The Haunted Mask", premiered on Fox on October 28th, 1995 on its primetime slot as a special Halloween event. This also was the premiere of the TV series, in which the first episode to premiere on Fox Kids was "The Cuckoo Clock of Doom", which premiered November 3rd, 1995. The show aired regularly on Saturday mornings, but would often be moved to the weekday afternoon block. Several of the  two part stories premiered on primetime on Fox, including "The Haunted Mask II", which featured R.L. Stine appearing during every commercial break to ask Goosebumps trivia questions to the audience. Other episodes to premiere in prime time were "A Night in Terror Tower", and "The Werewolf of Fever Swamp". The show was one of Fox Kids' highest rated shows up until the series ended on November 16th, 1998. 

Fox Kids would hold several Goosebumps related contests over the course of the series run, including the "Fox Kids Terroriffic Sweepstakes", which offered its winner a walk in cameo in a Goosebumps episode as well as every book until the year 2000.  This was followed by the "Chief of Creeps Sweepstakes", which gave the winner a trip to meet R.L. Stine, as well as a trip to the Goosebumps Creature Shop to be transformed into a monster. Another contest was the "Escape Into Goosebumps Sweepstakes", which offered the winner the chance to play Escape From Horrorland in a movie theater with their friends. 

Slappy's Monster Madness/Slappy's Sideshow Saturday

Slappy was used to promote Goosebumps by hosting two different special marathon events.

The first, Slappy's Monster Madness, featured Slappy and other Goosebumps monsters including The Werewolf of Fever Swamp and The Mummy trying to create the scariest monster ever, with special appearances by The Haunted Mask, a Lawn Gnome, Casper the Friendly Ghost, and a dummy version of R.L. Stine. This marathon aired in 1997.

The second, Slappy's Sideshow Saturday, featured Slappy hosting a carnival featuring many different monsters, while showing off many new episodes of other Fox Kids shows. This marathon aired in 1998.
