Amy Kramer is sick and tired of her broken dummy Dennis, whose head always falls off. Amy's father buys her a new dummy that he found in a store. Amy's new dummy is named [[Slappy]]. Amy finds a piece of paper in Slappy's jacket pocket. The piece of paper has a strange phrase on it: "[[Karru Marri Odonna Loma Molonu Karrano]]". After reading the phrase aloud, Amy thanks her parents for her new dummy, but doesn't notice Slappy's eyes moving. Slappy was brought to life when Amy read the words inscribed on the small sheet of paper.

Amy opens the box to find that devious dummy Slappy. After reading Karru Marri Odanna Lomma Malonu Karrano she thanks her parents and doesn't notice Slappy's eyes moving. After Slappy manages to get Amy on the bad side of Mom,Dad,her sister Sarah,brother Jed and her best friend Demarco she drops him in a sewer. She goes home and finds strange footprints leading to her bed. She looks under the bed and hears a voice behind her. She turns to see Slappy who tells Amy she is his slave and if not he will hurt her and her family. Her sister Sarah enters to see Slappy stand up and both girls run. Eventually they end up in a living room. Slappy is about to ruin Sarah s when he sees Dennis and gets tackled, and dies. Slappy's head busted open allowing a mysterious worm out of his head. Suddenly the parents come out and say they saw the whole thing. Finally they notice Jed is missing (Jed dressed up like Dennis and killed Slappy), consisting he had saved the children from Slappy, they find Jed asleep so they wake him up and he says he was sorry about forgetting to dress up like Dennis!

Slappy promptly begins causing mischief. Slappy manages to get Amy in trouble with her parents, her sister, [[Sara Kramer|Sara]], her brother, [[Jed Kramer|Jed ]] and her best friend, Margo. Dennis is a ventriloquist dummy owned by Amy Kramer in the thirty-first Goosebumps book Night of the Living Dummy II, and its television adaptation.

History

Amy Kramer is sick and tired of her broken dummy Dennis, whose head always falls off. Amy's father buys her a new dummy that he found in a store. Amy's new dummy is named Slappy. Amy finds a piece of paper in Slappy's jacket pocket. The piece of paper has a strange phrase on it: "Karru Marri Odonna Loma Molonu Karrano".
