Cartoon Network is a cable channel that primarily focuses on airing new and old cartoons for kids, running from 1991 to the present. The network was the 3rd channel to air Goosebumps in the United States, after Fox Kids and Fox Family.
2007 Halloween Marathon[]
In 2007, CN acquired the rights from 20th Century Fox and Scholastic to air episodes of Goosebumps on their programming line-up. During the Halloween of 2007, Cartoon Network announced that they would be airing a month-long marathon of Goosebumps episodes, including 40 episodes from the original TV series. The promotion for the event portrayed the show through 1970s-Grindhouse-style promos and trailers. The event also tied into another Halloween event on CN, the premiere of R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It. Cartoon Network capped off the Halloween event with a 2-day marathon of Goosebumps and an airing of The Haunting Hour movie, hosted by Emily Osment. Goosebumps Would continue to air on the network through November 17th, 2007, and would return the following year.
The event was the first time the Goosebumps show had been aired in America since 2001, and the ratings for Cartoon Network showed that the series was worth bringing back for another marathon.

2008 Halloween Marathon (Goosebumps Nightmare-A-Thon)[]
October 2008 saw the return of Goosebumps to the programming schedule, with occasional episode airings throughout the week, and a Halloween marathon titled the "Goosebumps Nightmare-A-Thon". The event showcased a whole new line-up of Goosebumps episodes, most not showcased the year prior. The event continued the Grindhouse-style promos, and the show even began airing as part of CN's Thursday Block, Har Har Tharsdays (renamed to Scare Scare Scaresdays for Halloween).
Even more so than last year, Goosebumps (and another series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars) pushed CNs October Primetime ratings to it's best since 2004 among Kids 6-11. With the success of the series on Cartoon Networks programming block, it can be inferred that Cartoon Network helped in the resurrection of the Goosebumps brand in the late 2000s.

Halloween 2009[]
This year didn't have a special Goosebumps event, as CN was more focusing on showcasing their scary shows and movies under one giant event called Scare-O-Vision. Goosebumps would have 1 or 2 scattered episodes almost every day, but overall had a lesser presence on the network, not even having any episode airings on Halloween night. Goosebumps airings weren't as popular during 2009 as they were in 2007/08, which aside from the smaller presence in the line-up, was mostly due to the rapid decline in viewership on the channel, as a result of CN focusing more on new Live Action programming. Goosebumps would not air on Cartoon Network ever again after 2009, as the broadcasting rights would soon be picked up by the flagship Hub Network in 2011.

Trivia[]
- While Goosebumps wasn't the first CN show to feature live action characters, it was the first show to be completely live action, as the 2 shows before it (Big Bag and Out of Jimmy's Head) featured animated segments and characters.
- The 2007 event mostly featured episodes from the 1st and 2nd seasons of the TV show. Conversely, the 2008 event mostly featured episodes from the 3rd and 4th seasons.
- During the 2007 and 2008 events, hour-long episodes and 2-parters were featured as "movies". The 2007 event specifically would have a Goosebumps "I Want My Mommy Movie Night", where they would feature double-length episodes like The Haunted Mask II and Attack of the Mutant, among others.
