Bryce Carlton is a character from the special edition book in the Goosebumps SlappyWorld book series, Slappy, Beware! He is a previous owner of Slappy.

Bryce Carlton lives with his dad Duke and his mother Jane, who is a research doctor. One night, Bryce and his dad find a ventriloquist dummy in a trash can. This turns out to be Slappy. While his mother doesn't like the idea, Bryce is allowed to keep Slappy and uses him mostly as a prop to take pictures and play with. Slappy, however, wants to scare Bryce and his family, as he was told by his creator, Ephraim Darkwell, that he must succeed in an evil deed every day or be put to sleep forever. He knocks over a bowl of stew, but doesn't get a scared reaction. He fills Bryce's backpack with water, but given it's the holiday season, nobody notices. He unties the leash of Bryce's dog Grover, but the dog doesn't leave. He tries to sabotage Bryce's bike, but he and his friend Deshaun go skateboarding instead. When Slappy tries to ruin a cake for Bryce's cousin May-Rose's birthday party, Mrs. Carlton decides it would make a fun birthday card picture instead.
When Bryce and his dad go fishing, Slappy puts bait in their sandwiches, only for the food to be left home by mistake. He tries to drill a hole in their boat, but the Carltons go on another boat instead. Frustrated, Slappy tries to shove Bryce off the boat, but misses and falls into the water, leaving him water-logged and in a tub while the Carlton family go to May-Rose's party instead.
