Avery Jones is a puppeteer and actor. Jones is the puppeteer for Slappy the Dummy in the film Goosebumps and Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween. Jones also voices Slappy in some promotional footage.
Trivia
- Avery was supposed to also voice Slappy in the film, but at the last minute, it was switched to Jack Black, because the film makers wanted Slappy to sound like R.L. Stine.
- He does however voice Slappy in Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween.
- Avery has posted vlogs on his Youtube channel about his experience in the movie.
- Avery has stated that his Slappy laugh is an imitation of Jack Black's Slappy laugh.
- Avery also provider's Slappy's voice in Scholastic's three promo videos for the Goosebumps SlappyWorld series.
