Ari Devon Sandel is the director of Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween (2018). He is best known for making the short film West Bank Story, which won the 2006 Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film, as well as his feature film directorial debut, The DUFF (2015), and When We First Met (2018). He is also said to direct the upcoming Monster High movie.
His father, Dan Sandel, is Israeli, but his mother, Kathy Sandel, is American.
